This clear and decisive “No” to malicious schemes has triggered smear campaigns aimed at undermining Egypt’s national security and tarnishing its image, orchestrated by forces hostile to Arab unity and the rights of oppressed peoples.
The recent calls for protests in front of Egyptian embassies, fueled by misinformation spread on social media, are nothing more than desperate attempts to weaken Egypt’s resolve and sabotage its historic role in defending the Palestinian cause. Egypt has never been a marginal state, and it will never accept or support any plan to forcibly displace Palestinians or erase their just cause—no matter the pressure or conspiracies.
These coordinated smear campaigns are nothing but cheap tools in the hands of those who treat Palestine as a bargaining chip, seeking to divide the Arab ranks and spread chaos. History has shown that Egypt has always stood as the first line of defense, the voice of resistance, and a stronghold of every just cause.
Targeting Egypt’s stance today only serves the agendas of those who aim to undermine Arab national security by exploiting the Gaza crisis. Displacing Palestinians is not a solution; it is the beginning of a dangerous plan that threatens to ignite the entire region.
The Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) firmly reaffirms its full and unwavering support for Egypt’s principled position. The federation condemns all attempts to question this national stance or undermine Egypt’s historic role in supporting the Palestinian cause. ETUF reiterates its complete alignment with the Egyptian state in rejecting forced displacement and all foreign agendas that threaten regional stability and the rights of oppressed peoples. Egyptian workers have always stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people and will continue to defend their just cause with full commitment and determination.
Egypt has sacrificed lives, resources, and diplomatic efforts for the sake of Palestine, and no foreign power will dictate a position that contradicts Egypt’s national honor or deeply rooted principles. Egypt is stronger than lies, more resilient than any smear campaign, and will always keep Palestine at the heart of its policies.
